$CANTO (CC) : Canton Network is a layer-1 blockchain that processes transactions directly. Similar to Ethereum, it was developed for enterprise needs, combining the interoperability of public blockchains with the privacy controls necessary in the regulated financial world. Key Features of the Canton Network

Privacy-Focused Design: The Canton Network uses the Daml smart contract language, which guarantees data confidentiality; only authorized parties can view sensitive transaction details. For institutions like banks that handle private data, ensuring privacy is critical, compared to fully transparent blockchains like Ethereum.

Scalable Architecture: Thanks to its two-tiered consensus mechanism, independent network segments, called subnets, process transactions separately, eliminating congestion. This prevents the network from slowing down with increasing transaction volume and is suitable for high-demand enterprise use.

What Does CC Do?

Fee Payments: Users pay for network usage with CC. All fees are burned, meaning they are permanently removed from circulation, regulating the supply.

Application Payments: Providers can receive application fees in CC; for example, CC can be used to query a validator's name through the Canton Name Service.

Transparency: CC transactions are public and demonstrate ecosystem value by demonstrating network and application usage.
The circulating supply of CC is 34.9 billion, with no limit on the maximum supply.
Reward Evolution: By the end of year 5, 62% of rewards go to app providers, 20% to super validators, and 18% to validators, thus incentivizing app development.

Burn: All network fees are burned, reducing the circulating supply to align with the utility.

Mint Example: In the first six months, an app provider can mint up to $570 worth of CC with $6 activity in a 10-minute round, barring objections.
