About life, aging, illness, and death:

At around 2 a.m. in the middle of the night, my father-in-law fell when he got up to use the bathroom, and we rushed him to the emergency center by calling 120. He had a stroke when he was younger, so it's probably due to the old health issue, plus he doesn't watch his diet and drinks more than half a bottle of white liquor every day. Fortunately, the doctor said it shouldn't be a big problem, but he needs to be hospitalized for observation for a few days.
Last night, I also heard from my dad that my second uncle fell the day before yesterday and passed away the night before last at the age of 84.
When you reach middle age, you really can't bear to hear or see these kinds of things anymore. It's too hard.
