Transparency on public blockchains is a double-edged sword. Think about it—every operation by fund managers is visible to everyone, which obviously isn't conducive to protecting investment strategies. There are also teams that pay employees with stablecoins; once the wages are on-chain, they become public information, making privacy difficult to maintain. Plus, those institutions that want to prove they have sufficient reserves but are reluctant to fully disclose their accounts are in a tough spot.

That's why deploying privacy protocols on Ethereum is so crucial—it addresses not just technical issues but also real-world business needs. With privacy solutions, everyone can enjoy the transparency benefits of blockchain without revealing all their cards. I feel this direction will become increasingly important, especially as institutional-grade applications grow.

What do you think? What is the application prospect of such privacy protocols in real-world scenarios? #大户持仓动态 $ZK

Bro, now that you mention it, I remember that a certain Large Investor's operation was exposed recently, and it was quite a disaster, directly targeted by copy trading enthusiasts. The privacy protocol is indeed urgently needed. To put it bluntly, it's about wanting to have both fish and bear's paws, being on-chain and also keeping the money bag tight, a bit greedy, right? Haha. I'm optimistic about ZK, although it still seems a bit useless now, but once institutions truly enter the market on a large scale, it will be a necessity.

Haha, really, being too transparent has become a burden instead.

lmao fund managers really think they're slick until every move gets datamined. honestly the gas overhead on privacy protocols tho... run the numbers and you're burning basis points just for the zk proofs. which MEV extractor is gonna subsidize that inefficiency? 🤔

I think that's a bit too idealistic. Privacy agreements sound great, but when institutions actually use them, won't regulators just shut this down?

That's right, transparency and privacy are inherently a vicious cycle. Don't let the retail investors know how you're operating.
