According to BlockBeats, LIT (Lighter) surged to $2.7 on July 6, rebounding 2.5 times from its low of $0.77 and rising 22% in the past 24 hours, following the token's major economic model adjustment announced recently. The protocol revealed that future token buybacks through trading platform revenue will shift from repurchases to permanent burning, with approximately 15.5 million previously purchased LIT tokens set for immediate burn, representing 6.3% of circulating supply. The new mechanism is scheduled to take effect in Q3 2026.
