Russia Strikes Kyiv on May 14, Killing 1 and Injuring 40 in Large-Scale Attack

According to Jin10 data and Ukrainian officials, Russia launched a large-scale attack on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv on May 14, local time, killing at least 1 person and injuring 40 others. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that 31 of the injured have been hospitalized. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported on social media that a nine-story residential building was hit by Russian drone strikes, with one unit completely destroyed. Dozens of people have been rescued so far, though rescue operations remain ongoing as additional casualties may still be trapped in the rubble.
