BlockBeats News, July 4 – According to Bloomberg, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) announced on Friday that it will invest $1.75 billion to support EQT AB's artificial intelligence infrastructure construction.

CPP Investments stated in a statement that this AI infrastructure expansion project will be carried out by EdgeConneX, a subsidiary of EQT. In the coming years, EdgeConneX plans to add more than 10 gigawatts (GW) of data center capacity to meet the growing demand for computing infrastructure driven by artificial intelligence.
