Shiba Inu’s card battle game is getting a major upgrade, and it’s actually worth paying attention to. Here’s what’s changing:
The Web3 Layer
Your in-game cards are about to become real assets. Shiba Eternity is moving to Shibarium and introducing NFT minting—meaning every card you earn can be turned into a tradeable NFT. Over 10,000 unique Shiboshi heroes with different abilities will lead your decks into battle.
Ranked Tournament System
Competitive players are getting their fix: ranked tournaments run on 15-day cycles across 14 divisions. Start at White Belt, grind your way to Grandmaster. Win = points up, lose = points down. Straightforward ladder climbing.
How the Actual Gameplay Works
You’ll build 30-card decks and manage a “Bark” pool (basically mana). Strategic combat is the core: deploy fighters, cast spells, use weapons, and manage resources to drain your opponent’s stamina to zero. Each turn requires real decision-making—resource management meets card game tactics.
Status: Still in development (not live yet), but this is Shiba’s most concrete game update so far. The NFT integration could actually give players ownership rather than just cosmetics.
