On November 5th, The Block revealed that Gemini is also entering this field. According to internal sources, they have submitted a license application for a derivatives trading platform to the CFTC, and senior management has privately discussed using this license to conduct event contract trading.

Actually, this is not a new thing - several compliant platforms and other crypto platforms had already started laying the groundwork before. It now seems that prediction markets are transforming from a niche play into a standard business across major platforms. With regulatory endorsement, the imaginative space in this direction is indeed considerable.
