In the market, what truly makes a difference, frankly, isn't those magical indicators, nor is it someone catching insider information.

What creates the gap is very simple—it's how you manage your positions.

Many people understand position management too superficially, thinking it's just "don't be greedy, don't go all-in." But it's much more than that. The essence of position management is about controlling your mind.

Imagine this scenario: going all-in, the market suddenly plunges, your heart pounds, your hands start trembling, and all that's left in your mind are the thoughts of "buy more, buy more" and "get back to break-even." Where's the rationality in that?

Now consider another scenario: only 10% of your position, and when the same drop occurs, you can see clearly—"Hmm, this is the level," and even calmly weigh whether to hold or cut losses.

The difference isn't in the candlesticks; it's in how much space your position gives you to think.

The most frightening thing in the market isn't losing money itself. It's the chain reaction: losing confidence → decision chaos → wrong operations → continued mistakes. Once this vicious cycle starts, your account will only suffer more and more.

Experienced traders understand one word: slow. My own habit is to make important decisions in the afternoon or even later. By then, I can see more clearly the market's strength or weakness, what truly constitutes a breakout, and what is a false signal.

Look at the most costly trades? They all stem from one word: rush. Rushing to get in, rush to buy the bottom, rush to chase the trend. If you can slow down, 80% of the pitfalls will naturally be avoided.

Don't treat position sizing as a technical detail. It is actually your strategic layer of trading. It manages not only risk but also your mindset.

The longer you're in this industry, the clearer it becomes: any technical indicator or trading style can become outdated, but nothing can replace good position planning.

Once you truly understand this, you'll suddenly realize—trading is no longer a torment.

At that moment, you'll have truly entered the door.

Full-position all-in is really a death sentence; trembling hands make it impossible to execute stop-loss.

Oh my god, isn't this just my blood and tears lesson... I almost couldn't recover from that full position.

Patience is truly a secret weapon. When I previously went all-in with full leverage, I suffered significant losses. Now, I hold a small position and remain bearish, keeping a much calmer mindset. Not rushing means not losing money, haha.

When you're fully invested, your mind really isn't clear. Only now do I understand.

When fully invested, your mind really isn't functioning anymore, only your mentality collapses.

I'm a full-position all-in trader, and now I can't even hold my phone steady.

Honestly, I totally understand the consequences of going all-in with a full position; my mindset just explodes.

I'm really regretting going all-in with my full position now, your words hit home for me. Having a 10% position really changed the way I look at the market; I'm no longer trembling. Rush, rush, rush—I became like this because of that. Patience is truly gold. Position management = mental state management, this phrase needs to be etched into my mind. You're right, technical indicators are all fake; staying alive is the real win.
