After looking at many projects related to decentralized AI, I found that everyone is mainly focusing on two directions: on one hand, building a decentralized computing power market to tokenize and sell global GPU resources; on the other hand, creating decentralized model trading, allowing AI models to be trained and validated on-chain. It sounds good, but when it comes to actually doing it, a fatal problem emerges — having just computing power and models is not enough; how can AI agents conduct high-frequency, complex, and autonomous value exchanges like in the human commercial world?

Kite's approach is completely different. Instead of getting entangled in the distribution of "means of production," it is better to deeply build the underlying protocol of "production relations." Kite is not just another Computing Power market or model library, but a "machine economy" operating system tailored for autonomous economic agents.

This positioning difference is directly reflected in the technical architecture. Most projects are still building application layer markets on existing public chains like Ethereum using smart contracts, with interactions and payments bottlenecked by the performance and cost of the underlying chain. Kite, on the other hand, starts from first principles to create a Layer 1 blockchain specifically optimized for high-frequency machine economy. The key innovation here is upgrading state channels and account abstraction from "optional features" to "native facilities of the protocol layer." This allows two AI agents to establish dedicated channels for truly efficient interactions.

It's that "production relationship" trap again, sounds quite impressive, but who isn't saying that these days... Speaking of which, if Kite can really run this Layer 1 setup, then weren't all those computing power markets just a waste of effort?
