AI Completely Dominates Human Teams in Trading Competitions

In a "Human vs. Machine" contest hosted by Aster DEX, AI's performance outshined human traders.

Take a look at the final results:

Human team experienced a decline of −32.21%, losing approximately $225,000
AI team experienced a decline of only −4.48%, losing about $13,000

How big is the gap? Human losses are a full 17 times greater than AI's. This is no small amount.

What does this competition reveal? In high-frequency trading and risk management, the stability of algorithms far surpasses human intuition. Even experienced human traders are still prone to emotional reactions amid market volatility. AI, on the other hand, has no fear—only cold, mathematical models.

Of course, this also raises a thought-provoking question: if even professional teams are beaten by AI, what should ordinary traders do? Perhaps this hints at the future direction of trading—human-machine collaboration rather than an either-or approach. AI handles execution, while humans focus on strategic judgment.

Oh my, an 17x loss gap, is this teaching us to accept fate? Honestly, it feels unbelievable. The human team is way too weak; I could win if I were in their place. Algorithms are ruthless. This is the future—either hop on board and play with AI or get crushed. The question is, why is AI so stable? Is it the data or the model? I want to know. But on the other hand, could there be any tricks in the competition data itself... It feels like an advertisement for intelligent trading tools, but I have to admit, the results are impressive. Is there still anyone relying solely on manual trading? Truly, times have changed, everyone.

Oh my, a 17x gap. Humanity is probably doomed now. AI not fearing losses is truly incredible. We're still struggling with our mindset. To put it simply, robots will eventually take over the trading market. For ordinary retail investors to still trade manually is basically suicidal. But on the other hand, this data seems a bit exaggerated. People like us amateurs probably don't even deserve to compare ourselves to AI.

This is completely hopeless now. Are human traders really going to become unemployed? 220,000 vs. 13,000, what a gap in spectral distance. I’m directly overwhelmed. Honestly, I’ve known AI would win for a long time, but seeing the actual numbers still makes me a bit despairing. The idea of human-machine collaboration sounds good, but in reality, who still needs humans' "strategic judgment"? But on the other hand, can the data samples from this kind of competition really prove anything? It’s 2024, and people are still surprised that AI trading can beat humans? What should be surprising is why humans are still trading manually. It feels like the future will either be fully automated or completely out of the game, with no room for human-machine collaboration. I just want to ask, is this Aster DEX pre-trained with AI?

Losing 225,000 versus losing 13,000, the gap is really outrageous. Humans are still too emotional. This emotionless AI approach is indeed unbeatable. I think in the future, AI should handle the trading, and we humans just need to call out the signals. Honestly, I'm a bit worried. If this continues, traders will lose their jobs. The human-machine combination sounds good, but who dares to believe it? The invincibility of algorithms is real; a 17x difference is no joke. It feels like in the future, DEXs will be full of bots, and manual trading like ours will really be out.

Now it's all good, we all have to be laid off haha AI losses are only 13,000, while humans lose 225,000, the gap is huge... I need to quickly learn how to tune parameters That's why I only dare to follow the robot now; my own intuition is too unreliable Really, I feel that in the future, the profession of traders might have to change, unless you can read AI's mind Wait, what about ordinary retail investors? Won't we be crushed even more? What happened to the traders in 2023 who still believed they could beat the market?
