Maduro has deeply learned from predecessors like Saddam, Gaddafi, and Ceaușescu, and is well aware of the consequences of falling into the hands of his own people, so he is most likely the one who voluntarily surrendered after sneaking into the U.S. consulate at night!
Otherwise, it would be impossible to explain how a head of state was captured by outsiders in an instant. The only plausible explanation is that he had already prepared an escape route!
