The situation in Venezuela is far more complex than just oil and natural gas issues:
Venezuela currently has an estimated 4 billion tons of iron ore reserves.
It is estimated that Venezuela has the twelfth-largest iron ore reserves in the world.
Currently, the price of 1 ton of iron ore is $107, which means the value of these reserves is approximately $428 billion.
Iron ore producers typically enjoy high operating profit margins, sometimes exceeding 40-50%.
This means that mining these reserves could generate profits of over $200 billion.
This is almost twice Nvidia's net income for the entire year of 2025.
The wealth reserves underground in Venezuela are astonishing.
