What is the biggest paradox in the crypto world? The more you crave overnight riches, the easier it is to fall into traps. Over 8 years, I grew a small account from 1,000 USDT to a current scale of 50 million, relying not on luck or leverage all-in bets, but on consistent discipline and a reverence for risk.

This process can be divided into three distinct stages, each with completely different strategies.

**Stage One: Building a Foundation with Small Positions**

Starting with 1,000 USDT, the most important thing is not how much you earn, but developing good habits. Every trade is strictly controlled, never exceeding 5% of total funds. Stop-loss and take-profit must be set; this is not optional but essential. The temptation to chase highs and sell lows is strong, but resisting it allows for longer survival. I spent nearly two years in this stage, gradually growing the account from 1,000 USDT to 10,000 USDT. It sounds slow, but it laid a solid foundation for how far I could go later.

**Stage Two: Gaining Momentum in the Mid-Trend**

The moment the account surpasses 10,000 USDT, your mindset truly changes. But the biggest mistake at this stage is impatience. My approach is to add positions only during confirmed mid-trends, rather than going all-in chasing the hot spots. Position management remains the top priority, but shifting from capital preservation to efficiency. From 10,000 to 200,000 USDT, it took about three years.

**Stage Three: Cycle Profit-Taking and Compound Growth**

After the account exceeds 200,000 USDT, I adjusted my strategy again. I started implementing a weekly fixed withdrawal system—taking a portion of profits out each week while letting the rest roll over. The benefit of this approach is that it ensures steady gains without greed overtaking. From 200,000 to the current 50 million, the most critical factor was maintaining a stable mindset.

I have seen too many stories of accounts blowing up. In summary, the main reasons are: losing control of position sizes, lacking stop-loss awareness, and making operational mistakes despite correct market direction. The volatility of the crypto market is high, which also means that once your mindset collapses, your account is doomed.

I don’t know when the altcoin season will come. But what I do know is that, whenever it arrives, those traders who stick to risk management and discipline will ultimately be the ones laughing last.

Honestly, this methodology sounds very correct, but very few people can stick to it for 8 years... I just want to ask if there was ever a moment when you had the impulse to go all-in and bet everything, and still managed to come back alive in the end.

It sounds good, but the key is execution. Most people can't even get through the first stage.

8 years, 50 million sounds impressive, but in the first 2 years, it only went from 1000U to 10,000... This pace really discourages impatient people.

This is the secret to wealth. I've always said that discipline is more valuable than luck. Now some people are going all-in, which is really asking for a margin call. Don't be fooled by the 8 years seeming long, but they've been hitting the right rhythm every step of the way. This is the way the trend is heading. Risk control is easy to say but hard to practice. Few people stick with it, most give up and start messing around after the first phase. After hearing him say that, I suddenly understand why I always get swept out. It's not that I can't see the right direction. There's still a chance to enter now, but the key is to learn to cut losses, or no matter how good the trend is, it won't save you. Actually, the 5% position limit is like a moat. Many people simply can't do it. This wave of correction might be the best opportunity to get in, but the prerequisite is having the ability to execute. I just want to know how he managed to survive those fluctuations in the first 8 years. Just thinking about it feels difficult. Agree with maintaining a stable mindset. I've seen too many accounts go from millions to tens of thousands overnight. The detail of weekly extraction is good; it can both lock in profits and continue to grow. No wonder it reached 50 million.

Basically, no one wants to hear "take it slow to go faster"; everyone wants to go all-in and turn things around quickly. As a result, they've been thoroughly educated by the crypto world. Discipline sounds rigid, but sticking to it is really the hard part. However, the 5% position size really hit me; it feels like my previous operations were just gambling.
