Want to transfer coins from the exchange to your Web3 wallet, or vice versa? This tutorial will guide you step by step. The prerequisite is that you have already created a wallet and have a basic understanding of concepts like public chains, GAS fees, and main chain coins.

**Deposit Process (Exchange → Wallet)**

Step 1: Open your wallet and find the receive entry point (usually there are two), then click in.

Step 2: Select "Transfer from Exchange," then choose the coin type. Taking BNB as an example, then select the public chain — here we use Binance Smart Chain (BSC) for demonstration. **Note: No matter which chain you are transferring to, you must first transfer a small amount of the main chain coin as GAS fee.** For example, on BSC, you need to transfer some BNB as a fee, so that when transferring tokens like USDT later, you won't be prompted about insufficient fees; for SOL chain, transfer SOL; for Ethereum, transfer ETH, the logic is the same.

Step 3: Enter the amount of BNB to transfer, then click Next.

Step 4: Confirm again + complete security verification, usually arrives almost instantly.

Step 5: Check the transaction record in your wallet to confirm the deposit has arrived. Then switch back to the exchange, click Assets → Spot, find the BNB record to verify the transfer out was successful — in this case, we are transferring from the spot account, which is the usual operation.

That's it. The reverse operation (transferring from wallet back to exchange) is similar in logic, more details will be explained later.
BNB1,11%
SOL-2,26%
ETH-1,01%

Using main chain coins as GAS fees first is really crucial, otherwise you'll suffer a huge loss.

Damn, it's the gas fee again. Every time I transfer, I'm bleeding from the deductions.

Damn, I’ve fallen into the trap of transferring main chain coins first before, it pissed me off.

Transferring main chain coins as gas fees first is very important; otherwise, it can really get stuck. I’ve experienced this loss before.

Remember to transfer main chain coins as fees, otherwise you'll be confused when transferring tokens.

Oh my God, finally someone explained this clearly. I had previously forgotten to transfer the main chain coins first, and as a result, I got stuck paying GAS fees for a long time.

honestly the "just send native coin first for gas" part is where 90% of people fumble it... reminds me of UST in May, except this time they actually learn something useful. statistically speaking, cold wallets beat exchange custody anyway—risk-adjusted returns don't lie.

Damn, it's the same old GAS fee trap. I have to transfer main chain coins first every time. So annoying.

Damn it, it's the same old trap of transferring main chain coins first. I'm always painfully charged GAS fees every time.
