Wu said that MSCI announced the consultation results regarding Digital Asset Treasury Companies (DATCOs), and decided not to implement the proposal to exclude DATCOs from the MSCI Global Investable Market Index in the February 2026 index review. The current index treatment of the relevant companies will remain unchanged; DATCOs already included in the index can continue to be included, but MSCI will temporarily suspend increasing their share count, inclusion factors, and delay new additions or scale segmentation adjustments.
