Group economists say that despite US President Trump imposing tariffs on countries such as Canada and Mexico, Australia is expected to maintain resilience to global trade ruptures. Citi's Australian economists Josh Williamson and Faraz Syed said in a research report on Monday that Australia's strong political relationship with Washington and its direct exports to the US, accounting for only 3% of total shipments in 2023, are among the reasons why Trump 2.0 will not be a 'disaster'. They said: 'Although a hit to global trade flows could lead to a slight decrease in income and GDP rise, natural shock absorbers like Exchange Rate and close economic ties with other regions of the world could mean minimal economic impact on Australia.'#金蛇衔财:喜迎新春,$50,000大奖派送中 #你最近购入哪个山寨币? #2025你关注哪些赛道?
