Australian Dollar Falls 0.3% on July 28 as RBA Chief's Mixed Signals Cut August Rate Hike Odds to 19%

According to Jin10, Australia's dollar declined about 0.3% during Asian trading on July 28 following remarks by RBA Governor Michele Bullock. Kristina Clifton, forex strategist at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, noted that while Bullock left room for further rate hikes if needed, he also signaled the economy is cooling as expected and that prior rate increases require more time to take full effect. Market pricing for an August rate hike fell to 19% from 32% prior to his comments.
