China's Copper Ore Imports Fall 19.57% in April, First Decline in Five Years

According to SMM, China's copper ore imports fell 19.57% year-on-year to 2.352 million tons in April, marking the first monthly decline since December 2020. The January-April cumulative import volume reached 9.915 million tons, down 0.8% from the same period last year, ending a streak of positive year-on-year growth that had lasted over five years.
