According to Guru Club, China's domestic futures market opened broadly higher on May 20 morning. Baltic Exchange's China Containerized Freight Index (欧线 equivalent) surged over 2%, while crude oil (SC), asphalt, and fuel oil each gained nearly 2%.
Other gainers included low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), rapeseed oil, polypropylene (PP), and methanol, all up over 1%. On the downside, Shanghai silver fell over 3%, while palladium and platinum declined over 2%. Lithium carbonate and Shanghai tin also posted losses of nearly 2% and over 1%, respectively.
