China's Ministry of Justice Deems EU Investigation Practices Against Chinese Entities Improper Extraterritorial Jurisdiction on May 15

According to China's Ministry of Justice, on May 15, the ministry identified the EU's cross-border investigation practices against Chinese entities in the investigation of Thuniverse as constituting improper extraterritorial jurisdiction measures under the EU's Foreign Subsidies Regulation. The ministry, in coordination with relevant departments including the Commerce Ministry, determined that such practices violate the Anti-Foreign Improper Extraterritorial Jurisdiction Law. Any organization or individual is prohibited from executing or assisting in executing such improper extraterritorial jurisdiction measures.
