DeepSeek Suspends Series B Funding on July 25 Over Founder's Concerns With Media Coverage

According to BlockBeats, on July 25, DeepSeek suspended its Series B funding round and notified some potential investors it would not proceed with planned investment agreements. The suspension was partly triggered by founder Liang Wenfeng's dissatisfaction with media coverage of statements he made to investors during the company's Series A. DeepSeek may resume the fundraising process later and has already begun preparations for an initial public offering, which could be filed as early as this year.
