Gate News reports that, according to a Gate official announcement dated June 1, 2025, Gate officially launched its stock trading service. Users can directly use USDT to trade U.S. mainstream securities market stocks and ETFs and other assets on the platform.

Gate stocks provide trading services to users by connecting with compliant brokers, supporting more than 10,000 stocks and ETF assets. It covers major U.S. securities trading markets including the NYSE, Nasdaq, NYSE Arca, NYSE American, BATS, and others. Currently, it supports intraday trading, and in the future will gradually expand to 24/7 all-day trading.

With a unified crypto asset account system, users can directly use USDT to participate in stock and ETF trading. Gate stock and its CFD system are independent of each other. Spot trading does not involve funding fees or overnight position-holding fees, making it more suitable for users who plan long-term allocations of U.S. stock assets. Users can also view and manage their holdings, profit and loss, fund transaction flows, and corporate action information in one place within the account.

At present, Android users can experience the stock trading feature by updating the Gate App to the latest version. iOS users can also use the related services after updating to version 8.21.5. After completing platform KYC verification and meeting the access requirements in their region, users can enter the stock section through the TradFi section within the Gate App.
