Gemini 3.5 Pro to Launch July 17, Grok 4.5 Enters Beta Testing

According to PANews, Gemini 3.5 Pro will launch on July 17, marking a delay from its originally planned June 2026 release. Google DeepMind abandoned its previous 2.5 Pro architecture in favor of a new pre-training approach for the 3.5 Pro version. The model is reported to show significant improvements in frontend and visual code generation capabilities, outperforming Anthropic's competitor in multiple benchmarks, though it remains behind on complex reasoning and engineering tasks.

Separately, Elon Musk announced that xAI's latest model Grok 4.5 has entered beta testing within SpaceX and Tesla. xAI plans to release a new large language model trained from scratch every month for the remainder of 2026, aiming to accelerate technological development and competitive positioning.
