Global Gold ETFs Record $8 Billion Net Inflows in H1 2026, Assets Hit $526 Billion

According to the World Gold Council, global gold exchange-traded funds posted net inflows of $8 billion in the first half of 2026, despite outflows of $8.9 billion in June. Assets under management reached $526 billion as of end-June, down 6% for the half-year due to lower gold prices. Total holdings increased by 18 tonnes to 4,047 tonnes. Gold trading volumes declined in June, but the first-half daily average trading volume reached a record $488 billion.
