Human.tech Launches Clean SDK with Three-Layer Privacy Verification on July 21

According to Human.tech, on July 21, 2026, the company launched the Clean SDK, a developer toolkit integrating privacy-preserving identity verification and sanctions screening into Web3 applications. Debuting alongside Aztec's v5 network upgrade, the toolkit enables developers to verify user legitimacy and asset compliance without collecting personally identifiable information, using zero-knowledge cryptography to preserve wallet anonymity.

The Clean SDK incorporates three verification mechanisms: Proof of Innocence screens wallets against 23 sanctions databases, Proof of Personhood validates single individuals through encrypted identity data, and Proof of Clean Hands strengthens regulatory assurance for high-value transactions. Shield, the first live application built on the framework, enables asset transfers between Ethereum and Aztec with sanctions screening at both entry and exit points. Security firm Nethermind audited Shield's smart contracts in May 2026, with all identified issues resolved before public launch.
