According to MacWorld, Apple's unreleased iPhone 18 Pro Max is reported this week to carry a 5,425mAh battery in its eSIM variant, the largest capacity in iPhone history, representing a 6.6% increase from the iPhone 17 Pro Max's 5,088mAh. The Nano SIM version is set to reach 5,235mAh, up 8.5% from its predecessor.
In contrast, the standard iPhone 18 Pro models show minimal improvement, with growth of approximately 1.5% and 0.8% respectively. The new battery capacity brings Apple's flagship closer to competing Android devices, surpassing Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra's 5,000mAh configuration. All specifications remain unconfirmed pending official announcement.
