Iran Seeks New Hormuz Strait Management Framework With US, Oman Support on July 12

According to Jin10, Iranian scholar Mohammad Eslami stated on July 12 that the US has accepted Iran's arrangement to cooperate with neighboring countries on managing the Strait of Hormuz under a memorandum of understanding. Eslami emphasized Iran's position is "very clear" on advancing a "new management" model and that Tehran does not seek to block the strait. He revealed Iran has engaged with the US, Oman, and some European countries on this new framework.
