According to Iranian officials and reports by CCTV, Iran's Qeshm Island came under attack from multiple projectiles on July 12 afternoon. The Iranian official stated that all targeted sites were military objectives and the attack caused no casualties.

The U.S. military conducted strikes against Iranian missile and air defense systems, according to the American side. U.S. forces also took action against Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps vessels near the Strait of Hormuz.
