According to China's embassy spokesperson, on March 24, a Japan Self-Defense Forces officer broke into the Chinese embassy with a knife and made violent threats, violating the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. The embassy stated the incident severely infringed upon China's sovereignty and dignity, endangered diplomatic personnel and facilities, and exposed Japan's failure to manage and educate its military personnel. The spokesperson strongly urged Japan to investigate thoroughly, hold perpetrators accountable, and prevent such incidents from recurring.
