KOSDAQ Falls 5.56% to 785.0, First Close Below 800 in 10 Months

According to Korea Exchange, KOSDAQ index fell 5.56% to close at 785.0 on July 8, marking its first close below 800 in about 10 months. The benchmark has declined over 14% this month following its breach below 900 in late June.

KOSDAQ-focused active ETFs recorded double-digit losses amid the weakness. MIDAS KOSDAQ Active dropped 25.93% over the past week, while TIME KOSDAQ Active, KoAct, PLUS KOSDAQ 150 Active, and TIGER KOSDAQ Active fell between 20% and 25%, underperforming the index's 15.53% weekly decline.
