Kuwait and Bahrain Conducted Secret Airstrikes on Iranian Targets in Early July, U.S. Says; Kuwait Denies

According to U.S. officials citing unnamed sources on July 24, Kuwait and Bahrain conducted secret airstrikes against Iranian targets in early July, striking drone and missile stockpiles. The United Arab Emirates provided target intelligence and air cover for both countries.

Kuwait's ambassador to the United States denied that Kuwait participated in any military operations against Iran, stating that Kuwait has never allowed its territory to be used for attacks on neighboring countries. Bahrain has not yet commented on the matter.
