Legendary Investor Grantham Warns of AI Bubble, Says He's Selling U.S. Stocks

Legendary investor Jeremy Grantham, who successfully predicted the 2000 internet bubble and 2008 financial crisis, said recently he is actively selling U.S. stocks and warned that current market valuations are at historic bubble levels, with artificial intelligence at the core. Grantham, 87, who once managed $165 billion in assets, stated U.S. equity valuations now exceed those of the 2000 dot-com era. He predicted that when the bubble bursts—potentially within days, months or years—some stocks could decline by up to 70%, echoing the over 80% crash in the Nasdaq back then.
