LG Electronics Reports Q2 2026 Operating Profit of 1.58 Trillion Won, Up 147% YoY

According to Yonhapinfomax, LG Electronics reported Q2 2026 revenue of 23.8 trillion won and operating profit of 1.58 trillion won on July 7, beating analyst estimates by approximately 51%. Operating profit exceeded the previous year's full-year result of 2.48 trillion won.

For the first half of 2026, LG Electronics posted revenue of 47.6 trillion won and operating profit of 3.25 trillion won, representing increases of 9.4% and 71.3% year-over-year, respectively. Revenue growth was driven by premium product sales in appliances and TVs, while improved manufacturing costs and U.S. tariff refunds contributed to profitability gains.
