MegaETH Shuts Down Mega Mafia Incubator After 20 Portfolio Teams Exit to Other Chains

According to The Block, on July 17, MegaETH announced the closure of its flagship Mega Mafia incubator program after two years of operation. The Ethereum scaling project had supported approximately 20 teams that collectively raised about $80 million, but core team member Shuyao Kong stated that most successful applications no longer build on MegaETH. Notable portfolio exits include GTE launching its own chain, Noise moving to Base, and HelloTrade switching to Monad, while Avon and Valhalla shut down and Cap adopted a multi-chain strategy.
