MicroStrategy Skips Bitcoin Buys for Fifth Week as Cash Reserve Hits $3.75B

According to its Form 8-K filing on July 27, MicroStrategy increased its U.S. dollar reserve by $525 million to $3.75 billion while keeping its Bitcoin holdings unchanged at 843,775 BTC for the fifth consecutive week. The enlarged cash position now covers approximately 2.1 years of dividend and interest payments on preferred stock and outstanding debt.

The company raised $544.5 million in net proceeds through MSTR common share sales via its at-the-market program during the same period. MicroStrategy also repurchased 288,930 shares of STRC preferred stock for $25 million under its Digital Credit Securities Repurchase Program. Its Bitcoin holdings carry an average cost of $75,476 per coin, with a total acquisition cost of $63.69 billion.
