According to Morgan Stanley's July 27 global strategy report, the recent pullback in the AI infrastructure sector is sentiment-driven rather than fundamental, and the company outlined five key investment directions: AI infrastructure bottlenecks (power suppliers), chip manufacturing ecosystem (Nvidia, Broadcom, Micron), Chinese AI solutions, energy security, and hyperscale tech companies. The report noted a significant supply-demand gap—Google plans to expand computing capacity 1,000-fold over four to five years, while Nvidia's shipment CAGR is only 140%, creating a widening divergence. Morgan Stanley suggested the current drawdown represents a positioning opportunity.
