Naver and Korea Aerospace Industries Sign Defense AI Partnership on July 6

According to Yonhapinfomax, Naver and Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) signed a memorandum of understanding on July 6 to jointly develop defense-specialized AI models and physical AI-powered future combat system platforms. The agreement was signed at KAI's headquarters in Sacheon and marks a collaboration between South Korea's leading defense-aerospace company and a top domestic AI firm to advance indigenous defense technology capabilities.

The partnership will prioritize the joint development of an AI foundation model optimized for defense applications, while also accelerating physical AI development for unmanned platforms and AI pilot systems.
