Northern Minerals Stock Plummets 13% as Chinese-Linked Shareholders Fail to Divest by Australian Deadline

According to foreign media reports, Northern Minerals Ltd stock fell 13.33% on Tuesday (July 7) after the Australian rare earth miner said that six foreign investors holding nearly 18% of the company's issued shares failed to comply with the Australian government's order to divest their stakes by the July 2 deadline. The company, headquartered in Perth, said the delay further prolongs its dispute with Canberra on the issue.
