According to Bloomberg, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang denied on Wednesday that the company's next-generation data center platform Vera Rubin has been delayed due to production issues. Huang told reporters in Tokyo that Vera Rubin is already in production and on track for delivery. "Vera Rubin is already in production. Giant amounts of production incoming," he said.
Huang also stated that Nvidia is ready to ship H200 chips to China once sales are approved. However, Under Secretary of Commerce for Industry and Security Jeffrey Kessler revealed at a congressional hearing on Tuesday that "very few" H200 chips have actually been shipped to China and Hong Kong, describing it as "a very small quantity of chips" despite approved export licenses.
