Nvidia Plans $500B+ AI Partnership with SK Group, Including 2GW Data Center by 2027

According to Jin10, Nvidia announced on Friday a partnership with South Korea's SK Group worth over $500 billion to build large-scale AI data centers and develop next-generation memory technology. Nvidia will establish a long-term partnership with SK Hynix to secure next-generation memory supply and co-develop high-bandwidth memory (HBM) for AI training, AI agents, and physical AI applications.

SK Telecom plans to construct a 2-gigawatt AI data center equipped with Nvidia's Vera Rubin chips and SK Hynix's HBM4 memory, with the first facility expected to become operational in 2027.
