According to OranjeBTC's official statement, the company completed a private share repurchase this week, buying back 3,926,667 OBTC3 common shares at R$4.05 per share for a total of approximately R$15.9 million. The repurchase generated a weekly gross BTC yield of 2.68% with bitcoin reserves remaining unchanged. The company currently holds 3,912 BTC, and reported a year-to-date gross BTC yield of 16.39%. OranjeBTC noted that in certain circumstances, repurchasing its own shares proves more effective at increasing BTC holdings per share compared to direct bitcoin purchases.
