Philippines Inflation Eases to 6.4% in June, Down from 6.8% in May

According to Philippine Statistics Authority (reported July 7), inflation in the Philippines eased to 6.4% in June 2026, down from 6.8% in May. The decline was driven by lower fuel prices and cheaper food items such as rice and meat. However, inflation remained well above the government's target range of 2% to 4%.
