PlanB Opposes Bitcoin BIP-110 Proposal With Only 1% Miner Support

According to BlockBeats, on July 25, analyst PlanB opposed Bitcoin's BIP-110 proposal, arguing that fork supporters failed to understand decentralization principles. The temporary soft fork proposal aims to implement seven consensus restrictions to reduce arbitrary data like inscriptions and runes embedded in transactions.

BIP-110 currently has approximately 1% miner support, far below the 55% threshold required for activation, making approval unlikely. The mandatory signaling window is expected to open around August 7-8.
