SambaNova Raises $1 Billion, Hits $11 Billion Valuation With Support From General Atlantic

According to CNBC, AI chip startup SambaNova raised $1 billion in financing on Wednesday, bringing its valuation to $11 billion. The funding round was led by General Atlantic with participation from Seligman Ventures, T. Rowe Price, and Capital Group. The company, which competes with Nvidia in the inference chip market, previously raised over $350 million earlier this year from Intel and other investors.
