Shanghai Copper Futures Close Mixed on July 16; Shanghai Lead Rises 1.57%

On July 16, Chinese metal futures closed with mixed performance on the night session. Base metals posted gains led by Shanghai lead, which surged 1.57%, followed by Shanghai nickel up 0.61%, Shanghai tin up 0.53%, Shanghai zinc and aluminum each up 0.39%, while international copper rose 0.01% and Shanghai copper declined 0.08%.

Among other commodities, stainless steel gained 1.16%, aluminum alloy rose 0.52%, while alumina fell 0.59%.
