According to Shanghai official data and Jin10 on July 20, Shanghai's main financial markets posted combined transaction volume of 2,269.16 trillion yuan in the first half of 2026, up 24.1% year-over-year. The Shanghai Futures Exchange saw transaction volume surge 53.9%, while the Shanghai Gold Exchange grew 38.2%, Shanghai Stock Exchange advanced 35.2%, and the interbank market expanded 16.6%.
