Kakao Pay-6.70%
According to Odaily, Nasdaq-listed Siebert Financial Corp. has agreed to partner with Kakao Pay Securities to offer tokenized Korean stocks to U.S. investors via K-Stock Global Gateway. Kakao Pay Securities manages approximately 9 million stock accounts in Korea. The service aims to enable U.S. investors to access Korean stocks outside normal Seoul exchange trading hours, with both parties exploring whether tokenized securities could support T+0 settlement. The companies plan to launch initial offerings in the first half of 2027, pending compliance with U.S. and Korean regulatory requirements.
