SK Hynix Unveils $7 Billion in IPO Commitments From Baillie Gifford, Coatue

According to Odaily, SK Hynix's U.S. IPO roadshow revealed that Baillie Gifford Overseas Limited, Coatue Management, and Situational Awareness Partners have separately expressed interest to acquire up to $7 billion in American Depositary Shares at the offering price. The company aims to address a long-standing valuation discount versus U.S. peers, currently trading at 6.2 times forward P/E compared to Micron Technology's 7 times, with capital raised directed toward domestic capacity expansion including 45.5 trillion Korean won in capex and 11.9 trillion Korean won in EUV lithography equipment purchases.
