According to Yomiuri Shimbun, Masayoshi Son, chairman and CEO of SoftBank Group, predicted on July 15 at SoftBank World annual conference in Tokyo that by 2040, AI agents will reach 100 trillion and humanoid robots will reach 1 billion. Son stated that AI will contribute approximately 20 percent of global GDP, with humanoid robots operating 24 hours and equivalent to 3 billion human workers.
